congregation of St. John's Episcopal Church in Flushing, Queens, New
York, is multi-ethnic and multi-denominational. The
Episcopal Church is the
American branch of the Anglican Communion.
In the
Episcopal Church hierarchy, St. John's Flushing falls under the
Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.
Our
Parish Mission Statement: To provide a Christian environment
where anybody regardless of religious upbringing, race, ethnic origin,
gender, sexual orientation and cultural background can experience the
presence and love of the risen Christ.
Our
Vision:
A reinvigorated and dynamic Episcopal Church capable of drawing strength
from, or enduring, the ever changing demographic and cultural diversity
of Queens and nearby communities. As such, a fully self supporting
church by year 2010.

The
warden and other vestry members, as well as the entire
congregation of St. John's Episcopal Church
in Flushing, Queens, New York join me in welcoming you to our church
service and fellowship. St. John's Episcopal Church offers many
opportunities for worship, service, education, fun, fellowship and
spiritual growth. Each of us brings our own unique abilities and gifts
to God's service. I hope and pray that you will join us as we minister
to each other, worship together, and help draw more of our family
members, friends, neighbors, even strangers,
closer to Christ.
